Education Giving Back Toronto

Their mission is to create menstrual equity by insuring that everyone has access to period products, as well as to end the stigma associated with periods through education and advocacy.

They believe (and so do we!) that access to period products for all people who menstruate is a fundamental right.

The Period Purse has taken initiative in educating the next generation to reduce the stigma around periods. They have multiple in person and virtual period presentations that can be taught to grades 5 through 12, as well as to adults.

These classes cover a wide range of topics, from periods 101, to period poverty and how to have a more sustainable period.

They advocates for all colleges, universities, workplaces, and other businesses to provide free emergency menstrual products in their bathrooms. If you'd like to join the movement in providing these products for your customers and employees, fill out the form here.

As of July 2022, The Period Purse has donated over one million period products. We are so excited to be partnering with them for the month of March to help provide products to those in need.

The entire month of March, when you bring in your worn, unwanted bra for our Bra Drive, $5 per bra will be donated to The Period Purse.
